The Project
Two EVs, One Supply, Zero Worries
This Bristol household had just bought their second electric car and was relying on a slow three-pin socket to charge both.
We installed a 7kW smart charger on the front wall, with a dedicated circuit from the consumer unit. Because the home's supply was already busy, we fitted a load-management sensor that automatically balances the charger against the rest of the house — no risk of tripping the main fuse.
The charger is app-controlled, so the owners schedule charging for cheap off-peak hours and can track every session. Both cars now charge overnight, ready for the morning commute.
