Comfortable, Efficient Renewable Heating

A heat pump works like a fridge in reverse — it absorbs heat from the outside air and uses it to warm your radiators and hot water. For every unit of electricity it uses, it delivers around three units of heat.

  • Up to 300% efficiency — far beyond any boiler
  • Quiet, compact outdoor unit
  • Works with radiators or underfloor heating
  • No gas supply needed — perfect for off-grid homes

Heat Pump FAQs

Common Questions, Honest Answers

The scheme currently offers a grant of £7,500 towards an air source heat pump for eligible homeowners in England and Wales. We handle the application for you and deduct the grant from your quote, so you only pay the balance.
Yes. Modern heat pumps are designed for UK winters and keep working efficiently well below freezing. They heat more gently and steadily than a boiler, which is why we check your insulation and radiators during the survey to make sure the whole system is sized right.
Modern units are very quiet — typically around the level of a fridge or a quiet conversation. The outdoor unit is positioned to keep noise away from windows and neighbours, and we'll talk through placement during the survey.
In most cases yes — but heat pumps run at lower flow temperatures than boilers, so some homes need larger radiators or underfloor heating to get the best efficiency. We'll assess this in the survey and include any upgrades in your quote.
