This Cardiff family had solar panels installed three years ago and loved the daytime savings — but at 4pm, when the sun dipped, they were straight back on the grid.

We surveyed the existing system, confirmed the inverter was battery-compatible and fitted a 10kW lithium iron phosphate battery alongside it. The battery charges from surplus solar during the day and discharges in the evening, covering the family's peak-use window.

The whole job took a single day. The app showed results immediately — on the first evening, the battery carried them through until 10pm without touching the grid.
