Savings depend on your tariff and usage, but most households with solar see their grid imports drop by 60–90% once a battery is added. On a time-of-use tariff, shifting your usage to cheap overnight rates adds even more.
Most batteries are wall-mounted indoors — in a garage, utility room or hallway — or fitted outside where space allows. They're quiet, safe and take up about the space of a small suitcase. We'll recommend the best spot during your survey.
With backup mode enabled, the battery automatically keeps your essentials — lights, fridge, broadband — running during an outage. It's a feature we can add to most systems, and we'll talk you through it at the survey.
